Utility Applications
From our vast experience in the utility industry, Radix continues to maintain a
significant position in meter reading, service order and AMR systems. The Utility
Management System (UMS) application is an extremely configurable meter reading system,
ideally suited for service orders as well. Available in English or Spanish, UMS
provides advanced meter reading and data collection for many electric, gas and water
utilities. UMS seamlessly interfaces to many automatic meter reading technologies,
as well as all existing billing systems.
Parking Applications
Radix mobile computer solutions have made a tremendous impact in the parking industry
with the introduction of the FWP-30 integrated printer. This 3" thermal printer
integrates with the FW300, FW500 and FW700 handheld computers forming a single piece
solution. Radix along with our business partners offers the ultimate in ticketing
issuance systems.
Products
The Radix product portfolio of handheld computers and portable printers is designed
for the toughest mobile applications. Within our design principle we incorporate
ultra-ruggedness, ease-of-use, data security and PC compatibility. Radix handheld
computers collect and secure data in the harshest of environments. They can withstand
drops up to 6.5 feet onto concrete, temperature ranges from -22° to 131°F and can
be fully submerged in water. Our portable printers can withstands drops of 3 feet
onto concrete, operate in temperatures from -4°F to 131°F and up to 95% humidity.
